With COVID restrictions easing, are you itching for a holiday and wondering where you can travel? From weekend escapes, to interstate road trips, Australia is open and I urge you to take this chance to holiday here this year.
While there are still some restrictions in place for many of us to certain states, overall domestic travel is gradually opening up and we are lucky that we have some pretty stunning holiday destinations right here on our doorstep. So, if you’re a NSW resident, where can you go?
Regional NSW and the ACT is open and has been for some time to us NSW residents.
From the South Coast to the North Coast and way out West, availability is understandably getting very limited everywhere, so if you’re hoping to escape regionally, we need to plan something fast.
Fancy a girls weekend on the Central Coast? Head to Bannisters Port Stephens
A Hunter Valley Wine Escape? Spicers Guesthouse is the perfect luxe Hunter Valley choice.

Luxury eco glamping out West? Sierra Escape Mudgee is on the edge of town, surrounded by rolling hills, and breathtaking views.
Northern Territory
The Northern Territory just this week removed NSW and Greater Sydney from their ‘Covid Hot Spot’ list, so NSW residents are now able to enter the NT without having to quarantine.
A border entry permit must be completed, but that’s simple enough.
I’m already putting together some fabulous itineraries for my clients who are looking to head to Uluru and the Red Centre, as well as the Top End.
Dinner under the stars, overlooking Uluru? The Sounds of Silence dinner experience is a MUST!

Tasmania
From November 6 NSW residents will be able to enter Tasmania without quarantine, and there has never been a better time to explore the Apple Isle.
With tailored road trip itineraries, there is so much to see and do.
For the incredible landscapes and contrasting coastal colours, the Bay of Fires walk would be a pack free, 3 day walk for those keen to explore on foot.
An immersive coastal sanctuary, in the heart of Tasmania’s Freycinet Penninsula? Saffire Freycinet is a destination like no other.
A moveable feast of experimental eating, musical performance? While Mona Museum is still currently closed, their Faro dining experiments continue.
So, for experiences and hotel stays like these (and more), whether you’re keen to explore close to home or further afield, Australia awaits, with some of the worlds best experiences and scenery at our finger tips.
… and rather than book online, allow me to work with you to create a journey that is more than just a flight and a hotel stay. The personal relationships that I have with ground operators, hotels, tour companies mean that your experience is more extraordinary, than ordinary.
